Raymond James Brief On HNI

Knoll Announced 2Q10 Earnings

7.16.10 | East Greenville, PA | Knoll, Inc. reported second-quarter 2010 net sales of $192.3 million, a decrease of 4.9% from 2Q09 sales but a sequential increase of 9.7% over 1Q10 sales. Net income was $8.7 million, up 7.4% over last year's second quarter and 295.5% over this year's first quarter. Raymond James Brief Reports On BIFMA

7.2.10 | St. Petersburg, FL | Investment analyst Budd Bugatch of Raymond James & Associates provided commentary on May office furniture order and shipment statistics released by the Business and Institutional Manufacturers Association (BIFMA). Orders of $730 million for the month were up 11% compared with last year and up 21% from April orders of $605 million. May shipments increased 5% year-over-year to $635 million, up from $580 million in April. "For the first time since July 2008, BIFMA orders, shipments, and backlog all improved on a year-over-year basis," Mr. Bugatch noted.
